KTM Solutions Below the Hook (BTH) lifing devices are custom designed to meet your specific needs. All devices comply with OSHA 1910, OSHA 1926, and ASME B30 requirements. After assessing your lifting situation, our professional engineering staff will: (1) recommend an off-the-shelf system, (2) analyze and certify your own custom design, or (3) develop a custom design that meets your needs. Our staff will also develop operational and maintenance procedures, assist int he develop of user training systems, and provide support throughout the life of the device. KTM Solutions will deliver a turnkey system. This page contains samples of four lifters only. Each were custom designs that fill the need of a specific application. Special Note, some of our customers have requirements that are more stringent than the ASME and OSHA requirements. KTM Solutions will certify to your standards provided that they do not violate OSHA or ASME guidance. All KTM Solutions approved designs contain the following: (1) ASME marking Tags per ASME BTH-1 and ASME B30.20, (2) Product safety label to caution the user of all known dangers, (3) Clearly labeled controls, (4) All welds in accorance with AWS D1.1 and D14.1, (5) All welds must be fluorescent penetrant inspected before application of coatings, (6) Bolts must be torqued to the industry preload standard. (7) all designs supported by documented analysis (informal document) and stamped by a South Carolina PE.
